Constantinos Ioannou, the Health Minister of Cyprus, said that the country ordered 1.2 millions vaccines and the citizens of the island won`t have the right to reject mandatory vaccination.

But several hours later, obviously pressed, he changed his mind and said that he had been expressing a personal opinion, not a government position:

Obviously though, the intent for mandatory vaccination has been circulating in the government bodies of Cyprus....

Most people I know will accept the shot without any hesitance, and the first among them will be my mother.

Of course you have the right. Rights aren't granted by other men or legal fictions like government. They are granted by the creator. This is seen in the Constitution of the United States of America, but it truly applies to all living souls. You may have to fight for your right, but they are really looking for your consent.

Now, if they are claiming that you won't have the privilege to reject a mandatory vaccine, a bit of a different story. But why would you need that privilege in the first place if you have the right to control your body?

There could very well be a fight shaping up on the horizon, over this very issue. I have already decided I will not consent on this issue, no matter the cost.

Maybe you can show her what happened with he rushed vaccines and medications of the 2009 "pandemic" (pandemrix and tamiflu) where people got serious adverse effects like narcolepsy and try to explain that this vaccine now is even more rushed. There are lots of articles about it. "Safe" vaccines need many years to be developed. It helps people to get thinking.
