My local Whole Foods has some organic Russet potatoes that look real good, $.99/lb (may not even be a good deal, I don't know). Large, which I like to make peeling easier, not a hint of green and the eyes are shallow. I made cream of potato, apple and cucumber soup and they taste good in that.

I've had some pretty poor potatoes recently, why I'm posting about it.
