Could White sugar be causing me adrenaline and restlessness?

I thought sugar is good for lowering stress hormones and I thought it worked for me (I have also always longed for desserts based on fat and sugar, they are usually dairy) but I have been nervous for a long time after the midday meal that I always finish it with something sweet (chocolate, yogurt or sweetened milk, etc) and I'm wondering if it could be due to the white sugar.
Has anyone come to any conclusion regarding this?

How much white sugar are you consuming in a day?

And could this be due to not eating enough protein/meat in a meal?
I always feel these symptoms strongly after the midday.
Lowering/using B vitamins from it could be. Take some B1 with the sweet meal.
Protein is better eaten before 4-6 pm.
