Cortisol Or Insulin

If you had to do a short phase of taking either supplemental Cortisol or Insulin, which hormone would be "safer" to use (in standard, pharmacological doses)?

Would both of these hormones be expected to cause weight gain?

For what purpose?

For weight gain? Of curse insulin!

At least you sure some weight gains with insulin is lean tissue, but with cortisol its the opposite.but using insulin is dangerous, I probably would never use it.
