"The WTO may not be perfect, but it is indispensable all the same. It is what keeps us from a world where the law of the jungle prevails, at least as far as trade is concerned."

It's always interesting that those trained in internationalism like to use the same language. "Law of the Jungle" is the same phrase George H. W. Bush used in favor of the World Revolutionary Movement, what he termed the New World Order-

If "The Law of the Jungle" is anything, it would be Natural Law or Common Law. Of course the WTO isn't perfect. It's likely on the other side of the spectrum from that, an abomination of an organization that should be abolished. Why can't two countries come to a trade agreement without some entity like the WTO getting involved?

My guess is they are doing this to try corner the UK/brexit ,a move to check mate so to speak. His trump ramblings indicate trump may intend to to do more for the uk via the WTO once they leave the EU than the pathological liberal globalists type would like.

It’s all about who replaces him, likely a hardball type who will try frustrate the uk.

These organizations have no credibility anymore , the majority of people didn’t know much about them because they were always in the background, now these global groups are trying to infringe upon nations more openly people are pushing back.

The more they keep talking though, the better. Keep having Zuckerberg, et al defend their positions.
