If SHTF in Mexico, a cartel or local guerilla is going to take over, especially in remote areas. Say goodbye to supply chains. Whatever is local you can get, whatever isn't, you can't. What is your social standing in the community?

Do other people think you are wealthy or that you store food? If they do, it would make you a prime target, though most mex-gans forbid locals from attacking USA turists.

I am not sure what my social standing is.

My parents send me a monthly allowance.

Maybe 400 including food

I try to be friendly

Random people do sometimes ask me for

money.

I am in Northern California also. As a native, you'll be aware that our rainy season is just about over. Not as strong UV as the tropics of course. Perhaps you can come back fro awhile, get done what you need to and return to the tropics. I messaged you about Guatemala. But they will have to open their borders first. Another option could be San Miguel de Allende. Not as affordable as Antigua/Lake Atitlan, but high elevation, and a prevalence of English spoken if that is important (but learn Spanish while there--its fun!).

Appreciate it managing,

This is what I often contend with.

People advise me to try and get the social

security money and come back.

Flying back and forth with 5g and the

emf is something that concerns me.

I know that it would be helpful to get

a thousand dollar check but being dependent

on a 5g society to meet with caseworkers

and go out and exist in high microwave

environments is a concern.Sometines I am

Utopian about staying in the tropics because

my parents support me with CFS.I know they

wont be around forever to help and neither

will I

Appreciate it

I wouldn't want to be in California. However, I wouldn't want to be in Mexico City either... You can overstay in Mexico for years without any serious problems. Just think of where you'd prefer to be stuck.

Seems like immigration offices dont answer

the phone from my us cell phone

I was also told no you wouldnt be jailed

when asked and they said you can overstay

Called a law firm called mexico

legal.I am actually well south of Mexico City

in Yucatan. The Evening red light seems good.

Eventually I'll have to find work with CFS.

If I dont fo back to the Us and apply for disability

Playing the tropics game.People work hard

down here and I can tell it's a struggle compared

to work in the Us.I know I wouldnt last a day

with their work ethic

Yes it's scary being so far away from family

in the Us although the weather in the tropics

and the beach is probably better for health.

At the end of the day it comes down to money

and health.Social security could take care of

the money part but the future of EMR in tbe

Us is what scares me with my health issues

Then it seems like the obvious choice to stay in Yucatan. Just get some friends in your area and good sources of food... Medicine is cheap, etc. Just live in a place with good security or good neighbors - I lived in Mexico for a bit and it seems their culture is cool with robbing your neighbor.

What comes first money or health?

I will check with social security today to

see if my case in April 30th is still on.

I will say that for now it's either being

dependant on government or being

dependant on parents with CFS.I have

experienced some spiritual abuse with family

mentioning that cfs is demons. If I go back

there to the bay area I would probably

have to ask them to order me noise

blocking headphones as I cant tolerate the

noise in cities.

There are American backpacker hippy types

here volunteering in the tropics and living

spiritually.Having CFS and anxiety in another

country makes things trickier.Part of men

wants to return to the Us and fight for social

Security.Things seem scary.Here I'm the

tropics if your AC is not working it feels like

an oven inside.

I am sure you guys have life experience in

making wise decisions
