Its funny how the severity of the disease seems to vary so much from country to country, it makes me think that it probably has mostly to do with some countries like South Korea and Germany being better at screening for infections than others.

The fraction of infected people developing serious symptoms is 0.7% in South Korea and a mere 0.3% in Germany, it really doesn't seem particularly deadly when you take screening efficiency into account.

They may not have the political and economic motive as some of the other countries so it's of no usage to create hysteria.
