Not sure if copper malabsorption is common, but I came across some results suggesting that sublingual copper glycinate can raise plasma copper levels in people who have trouble absorbing it otherwise.

Maybe that tidbit will help someone searching the forum in the future.

This is perhaps slightly tangential, but does anyone here believe in copper toxicity? I know it's not supported by mainstream medicine, but there's quite a lot written about it in the alt.med world. I've read much of Lawrence Wilson's stuff and I have a lot of the copper toxicity symptoms that he mentions. I expect RP would attribute said symptoms to low thyroid/estrogen dominance. http://drlwilson.com/Articles/copper_toxicity_syndrome.htm

Copper alters thyroid gland activity in most cases. This can also contribute to cancer and many other illnesses such as Grave’s disease, for example. in http://drlwilson.com/Articles/copper_toxicity_syndrome.htm

RP wrote about how copper is vilified. I think that's an example, whether it's right or wrong.
