Cooking The Mushrooms - Sliced Or Whole?

Does it make a difference (in regards to reducing the hydrazine content through cooking) to slice the mushrooms before putting them into the coooking pot and just putting them into the cooking pot as a whole?

I boil them for two hours. I'd rather put them as a whole because it is easier that way, but if slicing them beforehand makes a difference in terms of reducing the hydrazines in the mushroom, then I will slice them.

Which method do you use? Has Ray Peat said anything about this?

Dr. Peat says he cooks his then grinds them afterwards as that is easier for him.

I grind mine first, then cook them. Same thing.

Sauteeing them in a well ventilated area first gets rid of most of the hydrazines.

Yeah, I have read about the ventilation. I boil my mushrooms for two hours but I always close the lid. Do you think the lid should not be closed for eliminating the hydrazines?
