In this video Ray explains that the unavoidable PUFAs we ingest together with saturated fats will be stored in our tissue as our muscles will first use the saturated fats and so the fats to be stored first will be the PUFAs. This implies that as we age, our tissue will increasingly be comprised of these PUFAs. What I'm wondering is if an isolated high fat meal in the morning would be a good way to get nutrients without stimulating an insulin response in the body and thus getting nutrition and minimizing the storage of PUFAs simultaneously, maybe this meal could also contain a high fructose fruit in order to replenish liver glycogen after sleeping. What do you guys think of this idea?
