Concentrate Vs Freshly Squeezed Commercial OJ

So if commercial OJ is stored in large vats for up to a year, does this process of first deoxygenating it and then adding back flavors and vitamins make commercial OJ about as good as Tang? Ok that's an exaggeration but just what is lost in that process. Also does anyone know if concentrated OJ is made from this vat of orange slop or do some brands concentrate the fresh stuff. I would be surprised if they do but you never know.
