I find coffee very enjoyable, but I find it to have a perverse effect on sleep. I really am not surprised when I see studies that says that it resets the sleep cycle. For sure it doesn't seem to affect everyone, most people I know drinking loads of coffee probably have zero sleep problems. But for me it is pretty odd because it feels fine when drinking it but even a bit of it can have a subtle effect on sleep even if it's 12 hours later -- it took me several years to find this out. I doubt I'm the only one, but I'm probably a very rare case. For all insomniacs out there, consider this variable next time in your diet experiments...
