Coconut Oil

I just got some coconut oil and it looks strange has it gone weird ? This picture makes those darker spots look mouldy but Im sure it's not mold

Did you get it shipped? With the warm weather it may have gone through hell during transport.
How does it smell inside? Maybe leave it someplace warm to see how it looks in its liquid form.
I don't think it's mold because coconut oil has strong antibacterial properties, it's probably just air bubbles

Yh from Amazon . It smells fine , I'm going to turn it to liquid

Think I had that happen to a batch, it is just the distinct components separating a bit due to melting multiple times

I often found it interesting that coconut/coconut oil is anti-fungal, yet I've encountered several occasions where I found true mold on coconut and oil. So, I keep an eye out on any of those products, but it is strange, if it is so anti-fungal, why would you see mold on it, except for the fact that mold can just about grow on anything that has moisture on or in it.
