I just got email from my refined coconut oil manufacturer becuse I wanted to know where the oil is from and how its made I found that the oil is refined and purified at 200°C for 45 minutes at pressure of 1 bar?
Its seems that this is the standard process for all the refined coconut oils, technically the term is (steam) deodorization, you heat the oil so anything in the oil, especially the aromatic stuff just evaporates.
I wonder could that be harming the oils fats chemicaly?
