I just got email from my refined coconut oil manufacturer becuse I wanted to know where the oil is from and how its made I found that the oil is refined and purified at 200°C for 45 minutes at pressure of 1 bar?
Its seems that this is the standard process for all the refined coconut oils, technically the term is (steam) deodorization, you heat the oil so anything in the oil, especially the aromatic stuff just evaporates.

I wonder could that be harming the oils fats chemicaly?

I don't know the answer to your question, but Tropical Traditions is one brand that claims a lower heat (though not cold-pressed in the refined product):
Tropical Traditions said:
This heat is very low (less than boiling temperatures), and is for a very short duration (10-15 minutes).

There is some PUFA (around 2g per 100g) in coconut oil but Ray Peat mentioned somewhere given the tremendous amount of saturated fats in their the PUFA are somehow protected from damage.

Otherwise If you can afford it and you dont react allergic, use cold press coconut oil.
