This book may help those with chronic migraines, it's overlooked, I've noticed the Peat community doesn't pay too much attention to it.

Yes , you are right. Not much on the forum about this. I wonder if Dr peat has talked about it on some program or video

A lot of people in these parts go big on things like cheese, gelatin, bone broth, mushrooms, and casein, which can mean very high levels of glutamate in the diet. I think excessive amounts of calcium might play a role in glutamate/GABA balance too.

It touches on all of that in the book. What forms of glutamate are risky and what happens to calcium balance as a result. I think calcium or magnesium may be protective however as it could prevent the rise in PTH as a result of intracellular calcium buildup, sort of counter intuitive.

Studies which show mitigation methods for excitotoxins and their damage are plentiful in the book.
