Does any one know any good brands of chocolate syrup? I want to make mochas but the only chocolate syrups I can find have too many additives or soy lecithin. The best one I could find just had xanthan gum added, does anyone know how bad that is supposed to be? I know it just works as a thickener but I'm not sure how harmful Peat thinks it is.

I think you messed up on the measurements.

I do 1 cup water, 2 cups sugar, 1 cup cocoa powder, dash of salt. Heat at medium and mix constantly for 3-5 minutes.

And depending on tastes and purpose, you can optionally add condensed milk/milk powder and/or a little coconut oil.

Theres a relatively new one. Its called Hersheys Simply 5. Only 5 ingredients, none of the artifical gunk and no fillers. I think its on Amazon.

I made Cliff's chocolate syrup from above post using organic fair trade cocoa powder (processed with alkali) and organic cane sugar.

SUPER EASY and delicious!! Goes great with coffee as a mocha...
