Hi all,

ive been mentioning the last few months what a difference vitamin A retinol acetate has made for me, when retinol palmitate didnt work for me at all.

for anyone interested in trying it, ive found vitacost sell it, and its extremely CHEAP! 3 dollars.

its also pretty clean, not many added fillers etc. Theres also a small amount of vitamin D, much less than the vit A, but its always good to balance fat solubles.

For Europeans, pure Vit A-acetate powder, great quality:

Vitamin A Acetate (Retinol) - Vitamins

This is actually a really poor quality product. Did you look at the COA? The activity is 325,000 IU/g of vitamin A, which suggests most of the powder is some kind of filler because a good quality, pure retinyl acetate would have at least 2,500,000 IU / g activity. And low and behold, they do say that it contains starch and gums.

"...The product contains vitamin A acetate, which existing uniformly in a starch-coated matrix consisting of maltodextrin and arabic gum with dL-alpha-tocopherol added as an antioxidant."

I didn’t no. I can say that it is well soluble kn DIY-creams and smells very good fruity acetate-ester like. It also gives vitamin A effects when I took it per os. But you’re right, considering all that it’s not first choice.
