I was on 20mg of celexa for about 3 years and decided to taper off. I did so very slowly. Starting by reducing to 3/4 for a couple weeks, the 1/2 for a month or so and now I'm down to a very small piece of the tablet, and have been taking that for abut 2 months. I started to feel nauseated everyday about 3 months ago (no vomiting, andn Im NOT pregnant). I take benadryl constantly because it helps with nausea but I've found out that there's a lot of seratonin in the gut and thought tapering off of celexa could be causing the nausea. I started to up my celexa to 1/2 and my nausea has gradually subsided. I wondered if anyone else has had this issue? I hate to think I have to stay on celexa forever to avoid being nauseous.
