Testosterone helps the body's tissues take up more blood sugar in response to insulin. Men with low testosterone more often have insulin resistance: they need to produce more insulin to keep blood sugar normal. As many as half of men with diabetes have low testosterone, when randomly tested.

It seems to me the conclusion is saying that you get different T readings based on blood glucose amounts. To jump from that to "carbs cause a T deficiency" is quite a stretch. As a crude analogy, stepping on the gas in your car and seeing less gas in the tank as a result doesn't necessarily mean the engine is deficient in gas. If the car is moving, then things are working as designed despite less gas in the tank. I'm not saying that's exactly what is going on here, but it is a possibility, so my point is that the extrapolation I mentioned in my second sentence is premature.
