Can You Eat Roasted Coffee Beans?

Yea, you can eat them like that. I know Starbucks sells chocolate covered roasted ones because I've had them a time or two!!

So you could technically also just eat uncooked coffee grounds?

Not sure about unroasted one's. They probably wouldn't be very palatable if you did, and they'd be quite a bit harder to digest I would imagine.

Nevermind. I ended up puking after eating just a teaspoon of uncooked roasted coffee grounds, about half an hour after ingesting. You live and you learn, haha.

I think those candied beans are usually very dark roast.

I usually put hot water, ground coffee and sugar in a cup and top it with a plate, after the coffee settles I drink it. I never felt any adverse effects but sometimes I wonder if it would do any harm
