Can Women Take Too Little Pregnenolone?

In a way that's harmful? I ask because apparently if you take too little progesterone and are a woman, you could feel worse, so it's better to start with a high dose. Since pregnenolone is a precursor of progesterone, do women also have to take a high dose at first?

I would also think this applies to men who are estrogen dominant.

Oh and my thoughts from observing is yes, high doses needed at first. High enough until symptoms subside, which could be incredibly high for some people I imagine. Someone posted a decent article just recently about dosing.
