Can Ray Peat's Diet Cause Hyperthyroidism?

I just got done reading the post on Ray Peat's voice and gummybear's posting about how he's losing hair. So I got to thinking, breathlessness and hairloss are two signs of hyperthyoidism, so is it possible that Peat's diet could cause hyperthyroidism? Just a thought.
