Can gut bacteria cause zinc and copper to stay low? / should I donate blood ?

Both hair mineral analysis and a blood test have found a high zinc-copper ratio for me. The serum ratio is 1.0.

Blood donation reduces iron and it's a good way to get copper and zinc up if iron status is normal or high.

My iron status is on the upper end. A higher rate of iron absorption and retention may be from hypothyroidism, which I had for many years.

The sky-high selenium should be investigated more.
