idk about that, I'd be more comfortable with standardized doses. The study does say adenosine A2 receptors are increased in the adhd model rats, and I know sleep disorders are common in adhd. Sleep deprivation is no good, so even just to ameliorate some of those effects caffeine would be good. Definitely a better first line treatment than any kind of reuptake inhibitor of you ask me

Caffeine's negative effects upon sleep would attenuate after 15 days.

An acquaintance of mine said the catholic nuns at her school would give the hyper boys some coffee. Probably sometime in the 60's.
I wonder how they stumbled onto that!
