Caffeine Powder Crystalizing

Hi everyone,

I've been making topical caffeine powder for hair loss which basically consists of a teaspoon of caffeine powder, 50mL purified water, boiled to dissolve the powder.

The problem is that when the caffeine powder reaches a lower temperature (room temperate at the moment) it starts to crystalize.

Does anyone know how to keep the caffeine from forming crystals in water?

Thanks

From wikipedia page on caffeine:
"Caffeine is moderately soluble in water at room temperature (2 g/100 mL), but very soluble in boiling water (66 g/100 mL)."

Looks like you would need more water to keep caffeine soluble at room temperature.
Which might not be a bad thing, making it easier to apply a smaller, safer amount.
