Just a note for those using the two nutrients together.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3720797

"...The effects of caffeine on the pharmacokinetics and bioavailability of aspirin were studied in 12 healthy adult male volunteers. The subjects received 650 mg of aspirin or 650 mg of aspirin with 120 mg of caffeine citrate orally. It was found that caffeine significantly increased the rate of appearance as well as the maximum concentration of salicylate in the plasma by about 25% and 17%, respectively. Moreover, area under the plasma concentration-time curve of salicylate was significantly higher in the subjects given the drug combination as compared to those given aspirin alone. There was no change in the plasma half-life, volume of distribution and clearance of salicylate."

Which one - the one I am taking myself with the high doses of caffeine or the one in SolBan?

I was thinking SolBan has aspirin and caffeine, no?

Yes, it does. Are you saying I should change the ration of the two based on the study? SolBan is mostly meant as skin protectant, so I don't think it needs a change for now. But I am keeping a separate list of all these studies so I can refer to them when people ask questions.

I am wondering if a graph with all these substances and their interrelations would be useful in the long term.

You read my mind. I am thinking of some sort of ontological visualization tool where I can input the various substances and create connections based on enzyme participation, mutual antagonism, synergysm, etc.

I'm pretty sure caffeine can increase the absorption of pretty much any substance it is paired with or make it work better...seems to be my experience at least..
