My daughter and I are headed to Mexico for spring break, and I'm wondering if I can buy my cynoplus when I am there. Will I need a script from a doc there?

If anyone can report any experiences of buying there, I'd be grateful.

    thanks

No, you do not need a script for thyroid meds in Mexico. You do need a script for antibiotics, FYI.

I haven't looked for thyroid meds lately (I live in Mexico), but I've heard that there's a shortage of cynomel. Hopefully that won't affect availability of cynoplus.

If I were you, I'd place an order just in case, especially if you're going to need it eventually.

I'm in Mexico and checked for cynoplus and Cynomel at the Chedraui pharmacia. They did not know about the meds and couldn't find them. I clarified they are not controlled but stl couldn't find them.

Also checked another pharmacy but the pharmacists don't seem familiar with the names.

Any idea what is going on?

    Thanks!
