He maintains its not harmful and can even be beneficial
For people with excess stomach acid,he says saliva is superior
To any mouthwash but does advise hot salt water for infection

The reason for sipping the brush is to keep it dry or capillaryaction
Won't work if brush gets to wet.

But aren't you simply swallowing bacteria?

Did you buy a special brush? Did you find any research that this works?

As for the bacteria the stomach acid should kill anything you swallow but you can always spit as you brush

I see. But, I mean, in oil pulling they warned you a lot about not ingesting the oil because it has too much bacteria. Now I see this women swallowing dental plaque. I am like o_O
But yeah, I think sipping the brush and spitting it out makes more sense.

Dr Phillips advises to use the blotting brush only for blotting

Tooth brushing with regular toothpaste is still OK to remove
Food particles and freshen mouth

Blotting to be done after cleaning,
Because blotting takes longer people were
Blotting while watching TV , driving , reading,
Etc .
So when they were not near water it is perfectly safe to sip / suck
The brush dry. Depends how squeamish you are.

Yes I have the brush ,but as I only have 3 teeth left I'm
Blotting my gums :tearsofjoy::grimacing::grinning::weary::worried::mask:

I recently found Burt bees fluoride free toothpaste with novamin on ebay, seems to have done wonders for my teeth. Also bought Sangi apgard Restorative Whitening Toothpaste Premio on eBay which has medicinal hydroxy apatite, seems promising. Might have some bad stuff in it but not planing on using it everyday and they're fluoride free.

I use arm & hammer toothpaste 2x a week and it makes my teeth whiter. I am very anti chemicals but i feel like using this 2x a week wont result in terrible effects. Due to drinking coffee, cokes etc. i find it very helpful for keeping teeth white.

I feel like brushing once a day is too much. At least for someone who has a clean oral record of no cavities, etc.

I picked up some Earthpaste but I hated the flavor, I've read that it's also quite high in lead. Can it be concluded that glycerin prevents remineralization? I've been using Revitin for the past ~18 months and it's been pretty great compared to the more common industrial fluoride stuff. About time to purchase a new box unless there's a better alternative.
