Broken Root - Need Help

Hi guys,

A friend of mine has been playing bowling and had a tragic accident when someone hit her face with a bowling ball and broke her tooth in the root - horizontally. Anything you would recommend to help it heal? As far as I understand, there is a slight chance of it healing naturally.

I know ultrasound teeth restoration is around the corner, but nothing available yet. What would you do?
