Im not talking about politics or how brexit may or may not benefit UK economy wise, im talking about UK based pharmacies, packet forwarding services and supplement companies.
I've ordered nearly all my pharma "supps" from UK phased pharmacies without any issues what so ever. Affordable prices and fast shipping and not a single packet lost. Packet forwarding has also worked perfectly. Now that we are losing UK from EU, many countries including mine lose the possibility to order prescription supplements from UK because it's no longer in european economic area.
Do you experts think UK can stay in EEA despite not being in EU or is it lost cause?

Should be status quo until the end of the year. They have not laid out the changes in customs/import/export yet and are giving time to get ready.

I wouldn't think this would be all that big a deal. I am in the US, and I have ordered many pharma supps from various countries, and while the shipping time is longer than domestic, I have had only minor problems with delivery (and those were basically customs issues). I guess it would come down to laws in your country, and rules of the pharmacy you order from.

My guess is that if anything, you might experience longer shipping times due to different customs practices.

It is a big deal unfortunately. Many EU countries are extremely restrictive with supps, the UK being inside was one of the loopholes. Will be closed next year. Yes, it sucks.

Yes, I had that same thought the moment Brexit was announced. But wouldn’t packet forwarding also work with another not-so-strict European country?

Here in Italy the problem is it took ages to receive goods when they are blocked at the custom !
Goods from USA and China end's up all blocked at the custom and you don't receive notification about the process.

People who consume a lot of media start thinking like the media wants them to, here's why.
    Brexit/anti-globalism is Peaty :)

I think we are just gonna shift our attention more to the eastern side of europe or Russia
I have ordered there a few times. Shipping is fast ,often within the same week .

For example I ordered clonidine via farmacia del nino 10 months ago , didn't receive anything . Until about a few weeks ago I get a letter from german customs that it's illegal to import etc, potentially fine will come in as well.

Ordered clonidine in eastern Europe, received it 5 days later ,no problem whatsoever.

Considering the fact that the Conservative party are pushing the idea of an "Australian-style trade deal" (i.e. WTO or no deal) it's safe to say that the UK will not be joining the EEA any time soon.

EEA is basically like being a member but without any participation in the decision-making. You have to have alignment with EU regulations/laws, agree to free movement etc. It's basically the opposite of what the Brexit factions have been pushing for and would likely amount to political suicide for whichever party brought it in.

It could be that some alternative loop hole crops up, but you should probably plan on the basis that it won't.

Brexit isn't Peaty - it was always a corporatist project and Peat is a socialist.

There are absolutely left wing arguments for leaving the EU but they were never behind the Brexit movement.

EU membership is the only reason British people have guaranteed holiday from work - Blair amended the rules to account for bank holidays but it was only ever a technicality to add to EU mandated rules. The EU has also been one of the few barriers to complete corporate control of farming and food standards in the UK.

The only possible "Peaty" brexit would've been under a Corbyn government and we all saw what the British establishment and the right wing zionist parts of the Jewish community did to him.

I get the impression that the UK is less restrictive on supps and that the EU is. If this is true, then I feel very bad about the people in the EU.

This is why the EU should be dissolved. There are way too many regulations. Regulations are supposed to protect, but when people cannot get supps, it ends up protecting big pharma.

The politics of the EU is based on making high falluting noble sounding policies and goals, but it ends up with politicians scheming with their corporate sponsors to benefit multinational corporations, and the people, the hoi polloi, ends up holding the short end of the stick.

This can't help but be political because our health should not be dictated by policies that restrict our ability to make ourselves healthy in the way we decide to do so.

Give people the chance to choose their own snake oil! At least they get to fail, and end up getting good juju.

Yes. The EU sucks. Unfortunately, the normies I speak to are all brainwashed to believe the EU equals a pure moral achievement, like the European nations finally came together to be one free, liberal, peaceful place. They don't see the pure evilness in all those regulations, and the potential for future abuse that comes with such a powerful government.

UK was less restrictive (after Brexit, not so much) . Everything went through customs and was allowed to ship forward. Thyroid, antibiotics, cypro, hell even things like Aromasin etc. all flew swiftly without issuses.
