Of course they say that the problem is because the phone is a distraction.

More evidence to use the smartphone as a tool and not let IT dictate your usage. In my estimation, basic discipline skills.

I accidentally threw mine in the pool last week. Gonna try to go back to a flip phone. Been trying to convince myself to do that for over 2 years now. And I'm not alone. I think Cal Newport's work has only given the movement more momentum.
