I realise the dose is MASSIVE. For my uncle's 77kg it 's 1.5 grams on the low end.

In the study when the talk about the dose in mice, they did a "intraperitoneal injection every day" but a bit before:

We found that three times weekly administration of
melatonin (20–60 mg/kg) concentration‐dependently inhibited
prostate cancer development

With melatonin supplements it would be extremely impractical to administer, as they are sold in the milligram range.

Pyrucet, 15 drops three times a day

Any reason why specifically Pyrucet for metastasized prostate cancer? Any anecdotal experience or study you may have?

I read the Pyrucet thread, haidut mentions "there are several trials underway with ethyl pyruvate and we will see how they go. As far as acetoacetate goes, I think all the studies so far have been on animals."

Yeah, he said in one of his recent podcasts that he cured an old lady with cancer using 15 drops of pyrucet three times a day. If cholesterol is high, then I would also start on thyroid medication, and I would start on cyproheptadine three times a day to keep stress response and blood pressure down.
