Blending Foods/fruits Is It Okay?

Hey guys, i’ve been thinking of getting a blender to blend my fruit, oatmeals etc just to make it easier to consume while i work during the day.. Now i’ve heard that blending food kind of blunts the “cephalic phase of digestion” because you dont give your digestion the cues that theres food in coming like you do when you chew it and taste it properly??

Is this true? I was just thinking of doing it for my fruit bowl that i eat during the day consisting of things like mango, melon, organges dates, grapes, cherries, honey etc and i was thinking of doing it for one i consume oatmeal?

This would make my life 10000x easier, anyone tried it and had good results?

I personally feel my digestion is best when I mix solids and liquids.

If I make a smoothie, I will try to eat it with something more solid like cheese, cookies, bread.

When I eat a solid meal, I usually have a cup of fruit juice with it.
