The only caution I've mentioned to MANY is if they take a pharma blood thinner, then they can't take both. Grape Seed Extract cleans and thins our blood and in my mind that is a good thing. I take hardly any pharma drugs, but know a lot of the U.S. does. I have 3 friends who all take a pharma blood thinner and can't take grape seed extract. When I went for my routine check up ALL my pocketing were practically obsolete. Mind you I only started taking the vitamin C , 3 days before my appt.

Btw I was diagnosed with aggressive periodontal disease when I was 12 - 13.
Vitamin C was a game changer for me.

How much vitamin C were you taking before the appointment?

I had a huge tub of vitamin C about 2500 mg.

I would take 3 big tea spoons per glass of water , I did this 3 times a day!!

In retrospect that was a lot , but it was a last ditch effort for me.
I was clearly overdosing and yes I did end up having diarrhea.
