This study was aimed at assessing the availability of thiamine in cow milk and curd relative to pure thiamine by rat bioassay.

The rats were first depleted of thiamine by feeding a thiamin free. Next they got a diet containing a suboptimal amount of thiamin, this was hypothesized to favour maximal absorption of thiamin.

Result Bioavailability of: curd > milk > pure thiamine

So if one drinks a lot of milk, they would not benefit from a thiamin supplement?
Thiamin-depleted rats got a thiamin-deficient (= less than optimal) diet. More thiamin was utilized from dairy food sources than from the diet with added pure thiamin:

I would conclude that if someone needs to brush up his thiamin stores and takes supplements for that reason, it might be a good idea to take the supplement along with some dairy product for maximum effect.

If someone with adequate thiamin stores and adequate intake from food sources would benefit from supplementation is a different question.
