Best way to lower acetylcholine?

Hello.

I really want to stop my exessive sweating. I am almost 30 and my life was sh*t thanks to this condition. Tomorrow i will buy Oxybutynin to see if this problem is acetylcholine related. Since i don;t want to be dependent on this drug to the end of my life( assuming it will work) i would like to ask you for ways to lower acetylcholine.

It can happen due to low dopamine or low dopamine sensitivity and also high serotonin. I de say proper thyroid function is what works best. A natural but hard way to fix dopamine sensitivity is a detox of high dopamine habits. Besically, gaming, masturbation and music, while focusing on hard mental things (learn a new skill). Trust me this works wonders.

do those things unnaturally increase dopamine? wouldnt sex be included in that list as well as simply eating sugar?

yes gaming (specially fast and competitive) and give huge spikes causing your receptors to downregulate. Sex is nowhere near porn. Masturbating without porn is also a lot better. Sugar could be on that list but for me is not an issue and I dont get such exciting feeling.

I have done everything you suggested. No change at all.
Is your thyroid in check ? Liver health ? Probably safer to take a supplement that boost d2 receptor rather than a drug that blocks acetylcholine. I think creatine activates D1 and D2 receptors.

why does porn raise dopamine so much given its just visual stimuli compared to drugs you ingest or like masturbation/sex? so masturbatio without porn and regular sex are less anti dopamine than watching porn, even if its watching porn without any sex or masturbation involved?
most drugs are also on that list? what about hookah/alcohol?

I have read in the past the actual technical way how this happens with porn but I didn’t keep it. Also, this is easily observed in practice. Personally if I don’t use porn at all for like a week I have sex with my girl multiple times, multiple days per week. If I watch porn I always underperform and libido/aggression a lot lower, clear sign of lower dopamine/dopamine sensitivity. This doesn’t happen if I masturbate when I take a bath for example. Drugs is kinda same mechanism although weed and alcohol are pretty estrogenic so there are more problems there. Cocaine tho If abused creates the same dopamine receptor downregulation and needed in higher doses afterwards. Also very high dopamine release is neurotoxic so it will also reduce your total capacity of producing dopamine.

im curious to hear peats take on it but i know in general the more you masturbate or have sex in a given timeframe the more performance suffers. like if you have sex or masturbate once a week or two weeks, your performance for that one session would be much greater than if you were doing it everyday. like if you masturbate itll affect your performance , same as if you have sex

Excess sweating can also be due to the overactivation of the sympathetic nervous system. Too much copper could play a role here.

hey mate wouldnt creatine boost choline or acetylcholine levels somehow? i get many overlapping effects from supplementing creatine or choline bitartrate. i assume its because dietary choline is normally used to synthesize creatine as needed, so if you supplement choline or creatine you boost the levels of it either directly or indirectly? they have benefits in the gym but there are also some drawbacks like sweating easier, oilier hair and skin, some more pimples on the forehead somehow, more anxiety than usual.

Porn doesn't do this for me and many other friends, and I talked about this specific thing becauase of the whole NoFap NoPorn movement and we came to a conclusion it's BS. I can handle 6-7 sex sessions or masturbation the same. No drop in penile quality, if anything it makes me last longer. My prolactin is low so if I go a day or two without sex I gain too much sensitivity. I went a full 2 year with no fap when I was living abroad, and only engaged in sex. I literally noticed no change. If anything it makes me have that chill, "I just got laid" vibe and girls respond better.

Yeah that's possible. Perhaps you can add niacinamide to the mix to reduce some methyldonors.

Same. Also tried nofap and it just made me hypersexual in a very bad way. Contrary to the current trends I find masturbation relaxing, and having a calming influence like a kind of sex lite

I'd always pick the latter. Not sweating never feels good, and sweating can be a bit of a hassle in a hot and humid weather (right now) and then with all the potential uncoupling everyone's askin why am I drenched. But I just shrug it off and joke that I must be working too hard

Since creatine needs SAM-e to be made and the body also synthesizes its own choline as needed using SAM-e, taking creatine may spare SAM-e which can then be used to make more choline endogenously via PEMT.
