When using a capnometer, what does your best practise look like?

I do have an EMMA capnometer connected to a face mask to allow nasal breathing (picture attached)

I use it for two purposes:
- check my CO2 level after doing the control pause (CP) to determine my max CO2 tollerance
- check my current CO2 randomly - but I have not found any real value in thoses numbers.

What do you use your capnometer for?

I've only done random checks the Emma. I don't own one though. I do like the mask idea.
My latest reading was 48. I don't currently practice buteyko.

I have the same capnograph, although I don't use the attachment and instead just breathe through the mouth to test. I have been using it to test ETCO2 after doing certain things like exercising, taking aspirin, etc. The numbers change a lot.
