Well, hard to say, Sefton10! I'm not a good example as I'm at the beginning of this journey (RP world) and do experiment a lot.
But happy to share what I've done so far:)
After the blood test (Oct2020), I have started with NDT mostly 2 caps a day but sometimes 6 caps (when I felt bad) for 3 months.
October 2020
TSH 3.304 mU/l (0.350 - 5.000)
FT 3 3.630 pmol/l (2.250 - 6.000)
FT 4 14.57 pmol/l (9.15 - 23.8)


Then tested again in April '21 and started 50mcg Levothyroxine in addition to 2 caps NDT.
April 2021
TSH 0.32 mIU/L (Range: 0.27 - 4.2)
Free T3 5.8 pmol/L (Range: 3.1 - 6.8)
Free Thyroxine 15.6 pmol/l (Range: 12 - 22).

I'm going to test again in July to compare results.



My daughter's test results :
April 2020
TSH 5.36.mU/L ( 0.4-4.0 )
FREE THYROXINE 13.2pmol/L ( 9.8-18.8)
She has started NDT 1 caps per day (for 5months and tested again)



Dec2020
TSH 0.52 mIU/L (Range: 0.27 - 4.2)
Free T3 5.28 pmol/L (Range: 3.1 - 6.8)
Free Thyroxine 12.200 pmol/L (Range: 12 - 22)

After the test results in December, she's increased to 2 caps



April 2021
TSH 3.90 mIU/L (Range: 0.4 - 4)
Free T3 4 pmol/L (Range: 3.3 - 6.1)
Free Thyroxine 10.3 pmol/L (Range: 9.8 - 18.8).

After the test results (April 21) she added 25mcg Levothyroxine to 2caps of NDT per day.
Again, will retest in July.

I've read in the US groups people are fine with 300mcg NDT ( 7-8 caps) but I haven't tried yet.
