Hi everybody, Ray Peat recommended benzocaine ointment to treat a cyst that I developed about two months ago. He said that he successfully used the brands "Americaine" and "Ambusol" for such problems in the past. An alternative brand would be "Anbesol". Those ointments contain 20% benzocaine.
Problem: Although discovered/invented in Germany, benzocaine is absolutely unavailable here. No chance of getting it. In the US, it can be purchased via amazon for 8 bucks. Ridiculous.
