Taper it down with the lowest normal amount every two weeks.

Supplement with b vitamins (especially b6), magnesium (citrate or glycinate), glycine and taurine.

Be wary however with magnesium and zinc or even cottage cheese (which contains glutamic acid) when you are in actual withdrawal from high dose benzo's. When I was taking oxazepam (30mg or above) I had a very scary withdrawal attack when I took magnesium/zinc when the benzo was out of the bloodstream. I suspect the nmda antagonism from these minerals caused a paradoxical reaction.

These minerals do very much help (especially after coming off the benzo) but it's best to take them with the benzo when you are still using it.

Also, what's important is to switch the benzo you're using to an equivalent dose of diazepam, because the latter has a long half life and is the safest to taper down. For instance 5mg diazepam equals 15mg oxazepam.
