I actually restarted taking the antibiotics (Doxycycline) daily and most importantly, cut the Syntroid dosage by half.

Since then, no more acne (or at least 10 times less). No more night sweats and hunger either.

I also returned to a less ''Ray Peat diet'' though, so I'm not sure what helped the most.. but I'm sure cutting on Syntroid helped a lot.

I know Syntroid wasn't the primary cause of acne, because I had acne before taking Syntroid. But I'm sure it made it worse.

And I feel pretty good, no noticeable difference on a daily basis with the more intense diet. Didn't retest my hormones though, so maybe they got worse, but I don't feel like it.

FYI milk can have lots of iodine, which can cause hypothyroid symptoms in sensitive people. See the recent thread I made on this. Some have speculated that taking vitamin A can help you tolerate more iodine, but it's easy to overdo it with vitamin A.
