Ray peat rates pork meat low. Does he also think this when comparing pork gelatine to beef gelatine?
I currently use beef gelatine as a protein supplement as a i have digestive issues with whey, however pork gelatine is significantly cheaper than beef. See the example links below where 1KG of beef gelatine is £19.99 and pork is £13.19:
Beef:
BEEF Gelatine Powder 1KG. 240 Bloom. Unflavoured powdered gelatine or gelatin 5060552450147 | eBay
Pork:
PORK Gelatine Powder 1KG. 240 Bloom. Unflavoured powdered gelatine 5060552450024 | eBay
Is there any reason to pay more for the beef gelatine?
Also. I also use collagen. I believe it gives me digestive issues. Why would i be getting digestive issues from collagen and not from gelatine when collagen is supposed to be more 'broken down' than gelatine?
