Baking Powder - a surprising amount of calcium - high calcium to phosphorus ratio

I was just putting baking powder (not soda) into cronometer, and was surprised when I saw the mineral breakdown. I didn't expect baking powder to be so high in calcium, and didn't expect to see iron content in there. Good thing the calcium would block iron. I was also surprised at the calcium to phosphorus ratio..

Here is a screenshot of 1 teaspoon baking soda, along with what % it is of the RDA

If you're thinking about ingesting be aware that many baking powders have aluminum in them.

Good point. Luckily aluminum-free baking powder is available.

How would you even consume baking powder? on empty stomach?
I drank baking soda dissolved in water directly after drinking milk and I nearly puked

Baking powder and baking soda are two different things. What are you speaking of?
