Bad reaction to retinyl palmitate

When I take it I feel not so good, dizzy and kind of out of it. It feels like I shouldn't be taking it and that it's not good for me. I have severe allergy to fish, especially cod, but the retinyl I bought is supposedly fish free and synthetic.

What could be wrong? Has anybody experienced something similar? Is there another kind of vitamin a that would be better to take? I can't eat carrot either as I get a cross allergy with birch.

Edit: I have dandruff and scalp itch. I think I need vitamin a...

Thanks. Yeah, I will try the nutrisorb and possibly the idealabs product. Still, would be interesting to hear if someone has had the same experience and how they solved it. I see that at least one person had a bad reaction in the review for the product at the iherb site.
