Azithromycin Kidney Failure

I've just started azithromycin and have 2 more days. I read about kidney failure in a lot of patients. Anything I can do to reduce this possibility

I'm taking electrolytes so I should be OK.

I'm healing from metronidazole toxicity so I have felt some kidney pain but other symptins too.

I should be good.

I just keep putting out my concerns here because you never know

I've taken it many many times and known many people who have taken it and never known of any side effects other than maybe a little diarrhea (and that isn't common).
