Availability of T3 (Cynomel) in Mexico?

Hoping that someone who has lived or is familiar with the situation in Mexico can answer this for me:

Do the pharmacies in Mexico give out T3 (cynomel) over the counter, or do you need a doctor's prescription?

I see all these Mexican sites selling it so I assumed it must be something that you can just walk into any pharmacy and obtain.

You don’t need a prescription to pick up thyroid meds.
