Growing concern things like prog/preg/dhea will be prescription only soon. Customs making it harder to get them in too.

What's the best way to get it through the doctor? What sorts of things would you say?

They already are prescription only, except for DHEA which is an illegal anabolic steroid. I don't know how you would get a prescription. I mentioned to my GP that progesterone had provided relief from chronic pins and needles in my back and he almost laughed at me while asking why I would even have it and said its effects were probably just a coincidence.

Customs inspectors "can't" locate billions of dollars worth of hard narcotics coming into the country but can locate and steal 10 grams of progesterone out of a planeload of mail and threaten the importer with jail time if they contest the theft. It's obvious that they have no issues with resourcing and are just corrupt as hell and the officers get a laugh out of screwing with the peasants. I read an article recently that featured some "Border Force" (what an embarrassing name) official gloating about seizing lots of hydroxychloroquine that people, scared by the government, had tried to import on their own because the government made it an authority prescription this year and restricted it to specialists. The government really just hates us, the whole system seems designed to induce and reinforce helplessness at every turn, and the only trend is for it to get worse and worse.

Prog and preg come into Australia easily. DHEA on the other hand is harder. You can bring small quantities DHEA in from overseas for personal use so sometimes it pops up on eBay from within Australia but for three times the cost.

I've heard of preg being seized, its on a restricted list requiring prescription for it to get through.

So there's no shot of getting a doc to prescribe it? Prog/dhea is probably what they should be prescribing to 80% of patients coming through.

I highly doubt you'll find a doc who'll play ball.

Reminds me: I was in the ED last year and mentioned to a doc that I took preg and he didn't know what it was! Heartening... When I started to explain, he immediately assumed I was a roid rager and took it for the pumps.

Imagine you told him you took prog - they'd assume you're transgendering.

I import prescription only stuff all the time knowing that if it’s confiscated, that’s it. Have been able to order preg ,prog And thyroid many times and always received it. Controlled substances like DHEA on the other hand I have not imported as if that’s confiscated they take it further.
