I have struggled with health issues since my teens. I am now In my twenties.
I am so called "thin insulin resistant" but I can't gain weight because it makes everything worse. Skin tags, acanthosis nigricans, blood sugar problems. I am so sick of it. I have been on metformin and it helped a lot, but obviously its not the safest medicine to take.
My thyroid is also messed up. I have no hashimoto antibodies, but it swings back and forth between hyper and hypo.. How? If there are no antibodies, what is attacking it?
Last blood test showed normal free T3 and T4. Tsh was 4, so it is elevated again. No antibodies detected.
Doctors dont know what is wrong with me..
I have suspected maybe I have an insulinoma, but its difficult to find apparently?
I am trying cyphroheptadine and taurine now. NAC for protecting insulin receptors.
Also semi-peat diet. I can't eat much dairy

Thanks for any insight, I'm really at loss here on what to do...

To me you need to stabilize your blood sugar.
Eating small balanced meals with macro ratio of 40/30/30 carbs/fat/protein.
Easily digestible Peaty foods of course.
Folks here will help.
As for me, stabilizing your BS with food, with less focus on supplements is a good start.
