I'm currently screening the NIH reporter for some ideas and found this: RePORT 〉 RePORTER "Novel pathogenetic mechanism for hippocampal sclerosis, a common Alzheimers mimic".
Let's see what they find :) soemwhen in 2023. However, they are not using brain volumetrics to define hippocampal sclerosis but instead the usual indirect pathology markers, so they may very well fail to find anything.
